Business Analyst - Life Insurance Underwriting
Job description :
Requirement for senior consultant with the following experiences to participate in the gathering of business requirements for a Life Insurance Policy Admin system. The specific systems experience is not critical. The expertise must lie in the understanding of life insurance underwriting and policy administration.
Must Haves:
-Life insurance underwriting
-Automation of underwriting rules including the analysis of underwriting manuals and rules to determine candidates (of rules) for automation -extensive life insurance experience in new business and underwriting policy, policy administration and life insurance products -experience in implementation (functional) of new business and underwriting systems (particular systems experience not relevant but CSC or Accenture APIS will be among the options considered in the selection of a systems solution) -experience with policy administration systems -strong business analysis skills including process flow creation, requirements gathering, requirements analysis, impact analysis and business case creation.
Nice to Have:
-Ability to work independently
-Can work in a team environment
-implementation of policy admin experience from the technical and functional point of view
-experience with the use of, and configuration of underwriting rules engines
