Business Analyst

You will be providing analysis and documentation of business requirements in all areas of investment system and investment system architecture. Researching and documenting solutions as requested by middle and back office users, you will coordinate and assist all users in the eventual testing , implementation and training phases. In addition you will be providing recommendations for system enhancements. Working closely with all users you will work to educate on the new functionality and improvements of the Investment Applications. You will be counted on to provide 1st level support to your end user teammates.
Managing multiple internal and external relationships will be a key component of this role, including vendor, external and internal clients.
Prior experience required:
• Strong knowledge of features and concepts of all types of securities e.e equity, corporate bonds, hedging, options, swaps etc
• Experience in portfolio management and accounting systems is essential to your success in this role
• Nuanced knowledge of middle and back office applications
• Top notch communication skills; presentation skills and professionalism; Strong knowledge of SQL languages
• Knowledge of Eagle PACE, Thomson Portia, MRI and Private I application experience is considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of one or more industry reporting tools
